XSL Utility Functions

XSL transformations often require a degree of data formatting and other programmatic manipulations in order to render appropriately.

To help support this, Miru xTxT offers a utility class to assist in basic transformations.

First, you will need to reference the util%\ namespace in your XSL file.

<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
	xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
	xmlns:util="urn:util"
	>

FormatDate

<xsl:value-of select="util:FormatDate(EventStartTms,'MMM dd, yyyy')" />
  • MMM - month name (short)
  • MMMM - month name (long)
  • dd - day of month
  • ddd - weekday name (short)
  • dddd - weekday name (long)
  • yy - year (2-digit)
  • yyyy - year (4-digit)
