Document Metadata (aka. Header Info)

The document metadata elements below are not currently supported by xTxT 2.0, as Miru, the primary host for xTxT, has its own mechanisms for declaring this type if information. However this capability is likely to return in the future, so this page is left for posterity.


xTxT offers control over a number of HTML <HEAD> settings as well. These settings can be positioned anywhere in the document.

Note that the headers only render in the final HTML if full HTML pages are being rendered. In some applications, xTxT rendered content is embedded within an existing page, and in that case the existing page's headers would not be overwritten.

Renders a <title> tag into the <HEAD> of your HTML page.
